TGI Insurance Agency is an independent insurance agency with its corporate offices located in Matthews, NC (near Charlotte). TGI was founded in Davie, Florida in 1996. In 2006 TGI Insurance expanded to North Carolina with the opening of its Matthews, NC office, which now serves as its corporate headquarters. TGI originally stood for The Testa Group, Inc. but in recent years was shortened to just 'TGI'. TGI Insurance Agency, Inc. is a privately and closely held corporation and prides itself on its close-knit relationship with its clients. TGI's current president, John Testa, has been with the company since its founding and currently serves the day-to-day needs of his customers from the agency's Charlotte-Matthews, North Carolina location.
